The Write Team is Bath Festivals' flagship education project, aiming to provide year-round creative writing opportunities for pupils and teachers in Bath & North East Somerset.

The Write Team, which is funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, gives pupils and teachers the chance to work with professional writers, poets and dramatists to develop their own creative voice, both on the page and stage.

Over the last twelve months the Write Team have explored some exhilarating Sports Writing, some fantastic Fiction, and some wonderful Poetry.

Having worked for several weeks in their respective schools, the Write Teams visited the egg theatre for a day in February 2011.

Teachers as Writers
