The Festival begins with a series of free events all over the city of Bath and into B&NES. This is your chance to take part in anything you want - and it's all for free!
The centrepiece will be a public reading of David Copperfield by Charles Dickens at St. Michael's Without. Chapter 1 will be read out loud by Mr Alan Titchmarsh at 1.00pm on Frida 2nd March. After that, it's up to you! The novel will be broken up into fifteen minute sections and you can sign up to read by emailing us: copperfield@bathfestivals.org.uk or by turning up on the day and hoping for the best. We think it will last thirty-seven hours.
And remember it's all free!
