Mr B's Emporium of Reading Delights

Whether you’re grabbing a coffee, browsing for books or just passing through, the Bread Revolution Café and Festival Bookshop is the perfect spot to unwind between events.

Located just inside the Guildhall foyer, the  Café and Bookshop will be open throughout the Festival, offering a quiet spot to relax, delicious snacks, freshly brewed coffee and great deals on all Festival books.

We are delighted to welcome back Mr B's Emporium of Reading Delights, the worthy winner of the UK Independent Bookshop of the Year 2011, as the official Festival bookseller for The Independent Bath Literature Festival. Pop into their bookshop where a full selection of Festival books will be available to tempt you - it's also a great place to while away the time between events. Dont forget that there will be a book signing after every event! The bookshop accepts both cash and card payment.

The guys behind the award winning bakery The Thoughtful Bread Company are celebrating the launch of their much anticipated first book, Bread Revolution, by running the café this year. They promise a fantastic range of tasty savouries and delicious sweet treats from sticky Bath Buns to Sourdough Ploughmans' platters and even a fresh loaf for you to take home. This is a true celebration of locally sourced food where bread very definitely is king of the table. The café does not accept debit/credit cards.

The Festival Café and Bookshop will be open all day throughout the Festival, so please feel free to stop by.
